It has been awhile since I have written and wondering even if I should continue in 2013... I am never sure if what I have to share is worth your time and for that matter my own.... I do not enter into huge political or religious debates but figure there are blogs out there for that which thrive on confrontation and hate. This blog has never exposed the lives of other folks are made personal comments about how other's do their lives. I have felt in the past 4 months that people are just looking for reasons to be offended by the smallest of phrases. I understand we are all under strain and stress - I too have reached my limits more times then I ever thought possible. I never wish to offend, upset or get your panties in a bunch but as a dear friend pointed out that is not my problem but with the person who gets offended... I love sharing my silly adventures, my creations in fiber, the lives of my sweet furry friends and those topics I think are of interest to me and I hope might be of interest to you.
I would appreciate hearing back from you all who have the time and thoughts as to what brings you to this blog and how I might make it worth your time. As I stated I am also considering stopping the blog altogether if it really does not have a purpose to others.
Love, Light and Thoughts
Grace

Oh Grace I swear I have been worried about you in the last week and even said to my husband who knows nothing about blogging etc. I havent seen your blog for some time. I thought maybe you had been away for Christmas/New Year etc. I do know what you mean about blogging and that it never exposes the lives of others and I feel the same, we are connected but not really, I often want to be involved more in peoples lives, but thats me. I love reading about your adventures, your animals and often think I want to be her real friend. There's always going to be someone 'out there'without much to do, but grumble, but you are the star of blogs. I love to read them even when my own one is boring and often empty. Keep blogging gal.lots of love Jxx
Hi Grace,
I'm just a lurker and I'm sorry I just read and run, but I really enjoy your stories about animals, your love for them is so wonderful!
So thank you for sharing them and I'd be very happy to read more from you!

Grace, I love your blog , your animal adventures, and what you share with your wonderful crafts and tips with your critters. If your heart desires, please continue,. I truly enjoy the experiences you share about your farm. ...Linda
Chiming in to also say how much I enjoy reading your musings and animal stories! Personally, I feel blogging is as much about your readers as it is about you - to give us a like-minded community of people that perhaps don't exist in our "real lives." I wish for you to continue, but only if that's what makes your heart happy and brings you positive energy. There's always going to be a "rotten egg" here and there, and if you've come across some online, hopefully you don't give them a second thought.
Happy new year, Grace! Take care,
Jaime
I live vicariously through you so would appreciate your continuing if you feel inclined. Your journey is for you to decide where to put your efforts. Thank you for all you've shared thus far! *hugs*
Grace, I think it really should be about how you feel about continuing...if it feels like a chore or you feel obligated to blog that doesn't make it much fun for you. I enjoy reading about you, your animals and your perspectives. I like to read other people's blogs. Generally speaking it would be hard to say that I agree with anyone's particular views about everything, but that doesn't make the reading any less enjoyable. I suppose if it got to the point where I felt my interests widely diverged from someone's blog I would just quit reading it! I think if someone wrote unfriendly things to me about my blog I would consider giving it up though because who needs that? But, as the saying goes, don't let a couple of bad apples spoil your bushel.
I am glad to have met you through your blog Grace. Sherry
I like you do not comment on politics and try no to give my opinion about much that happens in the world today - although I DO have opinions as I am sure that you do also. However the purpose of my blog is to share with others what I do and what I achieve. I don't think that many people read my blog and that's okay, it more or less helps me to keep on track with my projects. It makes ME happy to be able to sort of track myself.
I like reading your blog and hearing about your animals adventures it makes me happy, I think it makes YOU happy too. So I think that you should continue to make yourself happy - that DOES matter. If it makes you happy then certainly it will make someone else happy too.
I just wanted to tell you that you are missed. I have enjoyed hearing about your day, your animals, and your part of the country. It's nice to know where my yarn comes from. Also, I marvel that you have such a connection with your babies and that they will do anything to protect you. I also worry about you having to do this by yourself. The mother in me worries when you don't blog, but I understand that you have so much to take care of. Take care.
You know I read your postings to mom every day. We love keeping up with the farm...it like we live there too! If you decide to quit, you will just have to write us a letter every week and send a picture now and then...I'm just saying.

I have been falling behind on reading and leaving comments, but please don't give up, I know what you mean about politics/views etc. I have seen a few blogs lately with TMI ... too much information. I wonder if the family member knows of some of the personal information posted. There are just some things that don't need to be shared. Also read you badger incidents, glad I don't have them here in CA, bet they are coming for warm water too. When I saw the picture of the one on the wall I was afraid that was your floor and he was alive in the house. Take care, try to stay warm and get some sleep. Love the deer coming to live with you too, bet they like warm water.
I love your stories Grace and appreciate you taking the time to write them down here..your blog is a much needed break from the craziness of life and a reminder of how precious life is...
Grace I too love reading your blog and I too missed you! I read your blog for the wonderful content and adventures. Dawn
Thank you everyone for your thoughts, kind words and sharing. I love the folks who take of their busy day and read the silly goings on here. I have also learned so much from those who visit and leave their wisdom with me. Since I am not a fan of all the technology and most times do not understand when it goes wrong I was hoping I was not being to boring in the simple life I share. I will take all your lovely sharing to heart. Many Many Thanks and Blessings to you all
I have missed you and wondered if all was right. I look forward to your adventures with your animals and grieve with you when things are not right.
I am a life long animal lover and have always had animals so your blog is a lift to me.
With all you do I would understand if you don't feel like going on with it, I disagree with your remark of a boring simple life.

oh grace i'm sorry. there will always be people who try to drag you down, in cyberspace and the real world. luckily i haven't experienced any of that personally, but if i did on a regular basis, i might start 'approving' comments. and have a policy that hateful comments won't be tolerated. i love your stories that make me laugh. and you tales about the animals, and how you created certain yarns and batts. but seriously...if you didn't have a shop and created things only for pleasure, i would read your blog as a fiber-comedy blog. seriously. you crack me up. *hugs*. i did miss you, and if you stopped blogging i would be tres sad :(. <3
