Come See What I Made This Weekend

I was a buzy little bee! I even figured out how to get my work done with two little ankle bitters. Please come and visit my newest yarns on my site www.larkspurfunnyfarm.etsy.com. I would also love to know what you think of the yarns, silk cocoons and if you have any suggestions for the site layout. I will be posting much more in the coming days and weeks - I just have to work around the two ankle biters and are never ending snow storms.

the yarns look delicious! just orderd some of the hollyhocks to make some gloves. Let me know how that hollyhock growing goes at your altitude, I'm having issues here with them. Last year was the first time that I got some to bloom! end of august I think they finally decided its time. they grow about half the height here (blackforest) as compared to NJ....and need a LOT of good talking to and a lot of watering.

Grace,

you truly make wonderful yarns. Maus showed me a picture of your Hollyhock yarn, and it is simply delicious. Speaking of hollyhocks; I've had good luck with mine so far. As is customary, they don't bloom the first year. The second year they were stunning, but last year (3rd year) they were very stunted. I didn't expect that, especially since I had let them "self-seed", but there was nothing I could do about it.

By the way, Maus and I were thinking of maybe paying you a visit one of these days. I live just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Larkspur (at the end of Upper Lake Gulch), so we are almost neighbors. :-)

Hi Ladies, the Holly Hocks are from my home growing up. I would not even attempt it in our wind. I am so glad you liked the yarn. I love doing what I do. Elle you are close but right now I do not have the shop open because of all the snow and that I have the two bottle kids in the house. We are organic and they just can not be around outside people. I have not been off the farm since the first snow in December. I really like that but I sure will let you know when we open it back up. Once again thank you for your purchase and will be putting more on the site and also new pictures of the goats. Stay warm
