What do you do when it's snowing outside??

For me after all the animals have been feed and watered I come in and started cooking... This brings heat into the house and makes me know that I will have something wonderful to eat after battling the elements...

I started with this very simple yet Yummy cookie. It comes from a book from the library "Southern Living Best Loved Cookies" and I was amazed how easy yet so tasty... I kept reading the recipe over and over again because I just could not believe this was going to work. So here it is and trust me it works.

3/4 cup sweetened condenses milk, 14 ounce package sweetened flaked coconut, 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon almond extract, 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup dark chocolate morsels.

Stir together first 4 ingreds. Drop dough by lightly greased tablespoonfuls onto parchment paper lined baking sheets. I used a small Ice cream triggered scoop to make mine. Bake at 350 for 15 to 17 minutes or until golden. Remove to wire racks to cool. Microwave 1/2 cup chocolate morsels in a zip lock bag by 30 second intervals to melted.. Cut a tiny hole in the bottom of the bag so you cam drizzle the chocolate over the top of your cookies. Then try to keep your hands off them for just a little while...

I told you - so easy and great rewards for such little work.. Enjoy
