Pomegranate Silk Rods- Happy Accident

I just love happy accidents. The other day while way too busy for my mind to keep up with I put my silk rods in the wrong glass jar of dye and before my silly brain could catch up with what I had done I then put the wrong dye on top of them. Two accidents but was great results. I guess the dyeing angel was helping this over worked dye gal....

What do you think you would do these??? Love these happy accidents to find their way to talented hands.

Funny, scanning through my feed reader, I thought it was a picture of bacon. But on closer inspection, it's much prettier.

I always say there is no such thing as a dyeing "accident" only fiber art you didn't plan on. The Creative Muse has a way of making things work out beautifully!

Gorgeous depth of color! I made my first forays into yarn dyeing this week and I am impressed at the sophistication of your colors. Don't tell us it was an accident. LOL

And, I got to the post office finally to pick up the stamp set. Thank you so much! What a wonderful treasure. I really appreciate you sending these cute little bee stamps to me.

Finally, love the pictures you have shared over the past several days of your animals. Thanks!

I am so glad you like your stamps - that was my pleasure...

Accidents happen and the dyeing angels are always looking out for me - trust me after 14 years I do know what I am dong when I pay attention but accidents are great too.

Keep up with the dyeing it is tons of fun.
