Agatha is getting Big

I took a picture of Agatha with her mother Miss Marple before all the bitter cold and snow - Isn't she gorgeous???

For those who might not remember Agatha was our mystery baby born 6/14/11 more then 2 months after the last baby goat arrived. I still have no idea who the father is since all boys where clear across the 35 acre farm when she would have been conceived. She is a marvel in more ways then just how she came to be - Agatha is a thinker and charmer. She is always watching and learning and when she gets in trouble she turns on the personality and melts your heart. She loves her mother and misses being with the bottle kids but she is double their size and was a bit too ruff in the play department. She now has all the girl kids to play with and she sure loves that but I do catch her taking naps in the barn next to the wire gate that separates the bottles kids from everyone else.

Such a sweet heart... I also love her fiber - buttery soft and a whisper of a pale gray - It is hard not to want to clip it but luckily I did not because she was nice and toasty when the sub zero temps covered the farm...

So what do you think of my Mystery Girl???

I am so glad to see Agetha doing well. I still laugh thinking about the whole way she came to be. Still waiting for a picture of those flying billies.

I swear I have no idea - I even walked every inch of fenceline - no openings. Besides of a guy does the deed he hangs around not runs back to his neck of the woods. Another fact that when she would have been bred the girls are locked into kidding jugs where again the billies can not get into. I agree it is immaculate conception or aliens - maybe the last one is because I have been watching the X Files non-stop thru the blizzard....
