Gratitude Giveaway

To Say "THANK YOU" to all my followers I would like to giveaway a lovey special Batt...

Last night I created this batt while thinking how blessed I am to have so many wonderful readers of my blog. It has hand dyed bold pink German Angora Bunny fur, hand painted multi shaded berry LFF Alpaca, kettle dyed LFF Mohair baby lockets in many shades of reds and a soft raspberry Mulberry Silk... Yummy!!!

Here is all you have to do - just write a comment under this posting of a " LFF story post" that touched you, tickled you or made you think... I know many of you read my blog who do not post comments but I would really like to know what effect my blog might have on you..

On Wednesday Feb 22nd at noon I will draw the lucky name from the hat... You can enter as many times as you wish but you must be a follower of the blog.... I know but I really want to reward those who have made the commitment.

(If you do not spin - I can spin this for you - no worries there, just tell me in your comment) This batt would also felt amazingly.

I Thank You for your stopping into my blog and I thank you for your comments... Hugs and Good Luck

I just read a few of your blogs. It sound like you live in a magical place. I just wanted to say that the color of batt you posted reminds me of cotton candy. It also made me think of how quickly our child passes and as we watch our own children grow, how much we would love to keep them small. When my grandmother was still living, she would take my brother and me to the fair and would always make it a point to get cotton candy. She's been gone since 1982 and I am 40 now. I always make it a point to grab a bag of cotton candy when ever I take my son to a fair or event. I hope it brings him happy memories when he looks back as it does for me!

I love all your posts. One particular favorite was back in January entitled "Be the Pinecone" It is so nice to read about another woman facing all the hard work and what comes with living this life style. Our philosophies always seem to mesh so well. Thank you for sharing yourself with us!

http://larkspurfunnyfarm.blogspot.com.au/2012/02/kisses-i-want-some.html is the story I loved goat kisses are so cute. Birds can be amazingly gentle with one another too. We breed parrots here. I love how cheeky yet wise these goats look. I'm a wannabe farm girl living in suburbia with 100 birds, four rabbits, one guinea pig and a cat lol I'd love more animals just out of room!

Oh, I love all your posts, too because you always have a bit of wisdom and a bit of sarcasm ;) One that really stuck with me, though, was when you described feeling the labor-type pain and knew your animal was about to give birth! What an amazing connection you have to your animals. I think it shows you are exactly where you're meant to be, and I find that very inspiring. Thanks for you generous heart in offering yet another beautiful creation. (now, THIS one surely looks like spring ;)

well, I do believe the post that touched me most was when you held your beloved fur baby in the barn until his time to crossover came. That for me was very touching and shows what a lovely heart you have. I do enjoy reading your words. blessings to you from a fan, Jaja (Teresa Burke)

One of the posts that has touched me the most of yours is this one: http://larkspurfunnyfarm.blogspot.com/2011/08/measuring-up-be-kinder.html

As for why... Well it's for many reasons, really. Because life is a journey that everybody really needs to be a bit kinder on. Because responses to a child complaining life isn't fair is an almost malicious "get used to it' rather than "well then MAKE it fair". Because there is a difference between kindness and over-self sacrifice - one I need to rememeber. Because everyone has bad days... and because falling off the wagon for one, two, ten days or even years is not a failure... so long as you get back on.
